TARANTO, SEASIDE TOWN
Taranto, city with a thousand-year history (founded by the Spartans in 706 a.C.), it is called the city of the two seas (small sea and large sea). Important merchant and military port, it is the seat of the Navy Arsenal and the MarTà national archaeological museum. Among the many attractions, in the old city the Cathedral is the most important with the splendid chapel of s.Cataldo patron of the city.
